Q: What is a customer? How do we add one?

A: ​ A Customer is that consumer whom you bill on a regular basis. We can define a customer within the system following the steps as below:
  • Select ‘Orders’ in the main menu and subsequently ‘Add/Edit Customer’ in the sub menu.

  • Click on the 'Add' button, on the right hand side of the screen.
  • To configure a new customer, fill the details in the given form.


  • The advantages of creating a customer:
              -> We can define him as  a registered dealer, which is helpful in generating tax invoices

              -> Also if we want to exempt taxes from his bill, it is easily configurable.
             -> PAN and TIN number are a one-time configuration for the customer.
