To enable it, connect with UC Support Team\/KAM to set this config.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"909\">Facility Level Config: &#8220;<strong>Scan Type Method<\/strong>&#8221; <strong>default (None)<\/strong>. To enable it, connect with UC Support Team\/KAM to set this config.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Central Config:<\/strong>\u00a0 To define the scan type method in Handheld during the initial setup of the handheld device. A facility-level config \u201c<em><strong>Scan Type Method<\/strong><\/em>\u201d with the values \u2013 \u201c<strong>Bulk<\/strong>\u201d, \u201c<strong>Each<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>None<\/strong>\u201d.\n<ul>\n<li>If \u201cBulk\u201d is selected, then the user will be able to complete the putaway in bulk for any SKU.<\/li>\n<li>If \u201cEach\u201d is selected, then the user will have to scan each item individually.<\/li>\n<li>If \u201cNone\u201d is selected, then the user will be able to configure the scan type method at the device level as explained in the subsequent steps.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Device level config<\/strong> \u2013 To configure the Bulk\/Each config at the device level. A device level config \u201c<strong>Scan type Method<\/strong>\u201d with the possible values \u2013 \u201c<strong>Bulk<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Each<\/strong>\u201d.\n<ul>\n<li>If \u201cEach\u201d is selected the user will scan the individual items.<\/li>\n<li>If \u201cBulk\u201d is selected then the user will have the option to provide quantity input against the scanned SKU code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By default, the system should store \u201cNone\u201d as the value of the above config.<\/li>\n<li>The Central config will be device agnostic.<\/li>\n<li>The Admin is only able to change the value of the config.<\/li>\n<li>The picker can\u2019t change the value of this config.
