Please notice the new section for shipments in the manifest created.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The shipping packages can either be scanned or added from the list of available packages.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">All the shipments with status \u201cReady to ship\u201d are eligible to added to a manifest. Please note that you can also add shipping packages with status \u201cPacked\u201d if you provide its AWB number at the time of closing the manifest.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The shipments summary section helps in recognizing a duplicate entry of a shipping package in the manifest.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">It also helps in identifying invalid shipments which might have been scanned by mistake.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">These shipments can be discarded from the list.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">If you try to add a shipping package with \u201chold\u201d state, the section highlights the error and doesn\u2019t allow to process further. You have to \u201cskip\u201d the package to go ahead with the addition of shipments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The successful addition of all Shipping packages in a manifest is indicated by a Success message.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/z2npIDtRHsTT7v08xJ3DVfP2y_9-ZWYn0J0cXkEFPZmQAqNBGqSxygmImPehb7ige7FfBMvIJ2Moqmfw7Qu5HIbXjRGcEvMbZ6cB2_mRaTFcdf7UT3edauxr98N4-fo5kk8kucuM\" width=\"624\" height=\"364\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Always remember:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">An empty manifest (a manifest which is created but does not contain any shipments) can be discarded but it cannot be closed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">And a manifest containing even one shipping package cannot be discarded.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u200b<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/yT3pKCEFdXz66NXDtVn9B2zDebpno3w8Rk7JS0lE_7Y95-4tycJeTYd1sIBvpmp199KTxvhJR5lMOmJcts3sT1H1jMQUjKHhquVsZfwabDtcP-lgM9LeGNZOhu9-jzBgxw_sLEJx\" width=\"624\" height=\"271\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"http:\/\/support.unicommerce.com\/customer\/portal\/articles\/1904647-q-how-to-discard-a-manifest-\">Learn more about Discard Manifest<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Also, keep it in mind that not more than 200 shipping packages can be added to a single manifest.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Close the manifest when handed over to the courier provider.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/1QPa1HuvgsnCkfhR76Ccy-XCOjP_roulAtculKqZmuSd4gt93zdPqJgnDc6UDERKDimZQEmWI3JHURkdtiLQAV2m2KAqrw2SVPt3JtojxI-YvTgzy7pKMnVeiPiLP3HkCOqOdYsc\" width=\"624\" height=\"291\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In all these steps we forgot to tell you that if you want to check the details of a particular shipment which has been added to a manifest, you can do that with a lot of ease.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"shipment details_manifest\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/731jRZiamrrqQXvnqTJnV7G8ckKL-EiUpMbtNIbDvAq1fi2Z_9BrwWpZsCVucsg6LtOH4dHdeoNPjtLvW2Tvm2JixA6_FbW7P1WCR6Ii-8i8M3Ri35AZMCQZCExQab-vXqRwjF4F\" width=\"624\" height=\"365\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Return Manifests also contain the shipments detail section&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In case a shipping package could not be delivered at the door step for a certain reason like, door found locked or location not found etc, the item must return to the warehouse.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">At the warehouse, the process would involve creating a return manifest. It is done just like in the steps as explained above for creating a manifest.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We will focus on the differences found in creating a return manifest from that of a manifest<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1. \u00a0 You can create a return manifest on the path Returns -&gt; Manifest<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/gP8FfuYC4nfQAZgpTuu7DK0U6CLBeTEYvwR9GBlLk0J_JFHrAVLiA0sl5pteB0F8D264cx0UJvh0EI6dS3iASzrqkGk5I3sTCE2ylzVLPDsTvmKdTqq_X-xvWh3qun2ngW-Vu9n6\" width=\"611\" height=\"492\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">2. \u00a0 \u00a0 All the existing return manifests can be seen here. To add a new return manifest click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/rSwX5tc3sjwcYNTRXEAL0uQDDozhUwISVC-b9OEYiXLe1Imz1Gj8ARNsw240UgcEZq_louaxm1DbNfGR2KGntCCDZdFl8e9U7ZTV6fV8diu85GysarZvMDOg7l6jt7qGtQnMuC9g\" width=\"148\" height=\"24\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">3.\u00a0 \u00a0 You just have to select the shipping provider which got the returned shipments.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/aLtZVjMjt4lB8nYkKTlYU5GMgUYfYzuRQD4VBnjXHtQ57OYaExhymtNF2h6G9bleJc2AoZyJfX6pOhNAIgdzebqwdl6cEyEW6B-7YDFIE7qrs6nusr8oz2hNa_LQ1Rcs_Audgc_e\" width=\"624\" height=\"164\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">4. \u00a0 The only option to add shipped packages in a return manifest is by scanning them.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/gIGzruDo99NzFegv0S5Syvu5yk-jWu0-GJo_tnFnaQwtrT6XTk0EFy7iR6G1RORcMZMY5i-urvaYwKVoqXx0ILadjJv5V6F_KNKDWweA_zCAVrBJ5dEVDmofbAwUtaFoJSmD8aYg\" width=\"624\" height=\"291\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">5. \u00a0 The shipments with following statuses can be added to a return manifest:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Delivered<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Dispatched<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Return expected<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Shipped<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">These can vary as per the channel process flow.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Actions to be taken on any data table across Uniware now available in dropdown lists instead of icons<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u200bAll the pages across Uniware holding respective data tables, like Orders and Shipments etc now have drop down lists for the actions that can be taken on the chosen rows.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The actions list will replace the icons for different actions on these pages. This would mean that for a shipping provider like a Bluedart or a Delhivery you can create multiple names or accounts within Uniware and select any of them to dispatch your shipping packages.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Let\u2019s see all the features implemented:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1. \u00a0 The list of shipping providers on the path Settings -&gt; Shipping providers now carries a new look. Our system supports the following types of serviceability:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/W45fWarTkdY6F9Otg_ebS-k2htWrAepMbbZKsK-v5OnGL6QJEitH8WhHeiOhRT19FRK7-bYDKWfaum-DdgoQlVQT35KPhLvmwgtas4gjoKck5_3oiz4fAwOnSZ90AxsNbVozweEh\" width=\"263\" height=\"112\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">These can be explained as:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/mu5Oxn97w3P7nneivhNscQcbnN4-eca3-p4IrXWox9gP0bbnf-pVPQ24_YSd2-kDPr-LPTz32uWP5Hn6vPQYu2jliZbYtug9ffY14LKNkFGmuKPM2YuBspFWTlOaq1HLukB2hWHz\" width=\"624\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/tpdozkds08kdCAYk1-nmSKpiQsQoVu9XJsZfKshaHMWIxXUxITj2EQKSOH3GmuMiHYhDnwslwd1knXydMf09-EiOY6dBMqNZXG9vdFhhgsTer3nuz64_ExUXTpz3lzPmk60uIzUt\" width=\"624\" height=\"488\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Shipping methods can be set as<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">COD<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Prepaid<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Or set definition for both the type of shipping methods by clicking \u200b<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/9OdHOr72LnPmfPBvLnKDzQc0PbUj7ynm8G0VrwpHDt3cTZkEoKfF_Flc0gvR8QSZ4EG-v-WKSNa7MDbOVEsdS5Vmy0QCor_jkRzHGM0LpVnZbcCTiC0AxDDsMQSAk3aZVUrLzu56\" width=\"187\" height=\"31\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The AWB Generation can be done in four ways \u2013<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you select LIST, the system will pick the tracking number or the AWB number from the list we feed.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you select API, the API fetches the AWB number every time a shipment is assigned to this courier.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you select MANUAL, then every shipment allotment to a courier will require a manual entry of the AWB number during the shipping package addition to its manifest.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">GLOBAL LIST is the common list of AWB numbers across all facilities.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">5. \u00a0 You have to enable at least one shipping method in order to enable the courier provider.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/Kun1DAzYOvs00LeY9-AEhZlPcjF7Wey31NmToSXQQbgE5IGmiTYEsregWDkpIpjGMdwD4PWuCoEbDFfoqGmPMqGfzgnv_Xvg2GgSWw79DLQuFYlez1ESRYAtLzKh7nesTYVifNZ9\" width=\"624\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">6. \u00a0 Please notice that you can enable tracking the shipped packages by sliding on the following configuration:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/RbrZ9aCfKpJQG2J7AVqAq4ddQpXlEZG8ZZgNqKPcAO-TdQo22rmZA7AOg_jPoDuYFf2Ap1L1b-F1f19ny3HiSjBTe_vroOw9EzEKvTzJlA0kKQ_OCfBTiegTcsHJk7ai4ny0Sj7f\" width=\"389\" height=\"127\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">7. As soon as you click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/zhZOnkVKCh6bVp_G7bQqKIjN5fKDy4yCgql2EJLYdKb_1ZKl-vwB9O1zw2YjJ3rJYKf9rV6OtXvsprOGqJPHDS8Hwf72LnRU7rJuUgt8IMX0AOzKTN8wjhQPsJ0p7IAlldOTjdcE\" width=\"116\" height=\"32\" \/> , the channel definition is saved and you are now allowed to set the API connectors to integrate with the courier provider.<\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h1>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">8. \u00a0 You need to configure the connectors to set API communication for either tracking the shipping package with a courier provider or fetch AWB number if its generation is selected as \u201cAPI\u201d.
