{"id":597,"date":"2019-07-14T17:43:13","date_gmt":"2019-07-14T17:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/support.unicommerce.com\/?p=1"},"modified":"2020-04-16T08:26:17","modified_gmt":"2020-04-16T08:26:17","slug":"q-what-are-shipping-package-statuses","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/support.unicommerce.com\/index.php\/knowledge-base\/q-what-are-shipping-package-statuses\/","title":{"rendered":"Q: What are Shipping Package Statuses?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">A:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Shipment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A shipment or shipping package is a virtual package of an order, which can contain some specified quantity of numerous order items.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The flow in a concise form:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">as soon as inventory is allocated to the order, a shipment is marked as &#8216;Created&#8217;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As soon as the picklist is created, the shipment is marked as \u2018Picked\u2019.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The shipment invoice is then printed and it is thus marked as \u2018Packed\u2019.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After being successfully invoiced\/billed, the Shipment Label has to be generated for dispatching the shipment.
