Hi. Let’s understand the process of adjusting\/updating inventory\/stock in Uniware.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inventory can be manually updated in two different ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Updating Inventory one by one on UI using Inventory tab.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Updating Inventory in Bulk <\/span>using the Import file.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Updating Inventory one by one on UI using Inventory tab, <\/b>follow the below steps:<\/b><\/p>\n

    On Uniware Menu, go to <\/span>Products -> Inventory<\/b><\/p>\n

    <\/b><\/p>\n

    Post making inventory changes in this tab, the total inventory for a particular product is captured. Total Inventory is the sum of available and blocked inventory.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Available <\/b>is the inventory which is available for further customer orders.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Blocked <\/b>is the inventory which Uniware has assigned for the orders that are still getting Processed.<\/span><\/p>\n

    This page only shows the SKUs which have available inventory. It does not show the out of stock products (products with inventory=0)<\/span><\/p>\n

    Let us try and understand the process with the help of an example. Here is the total available inventory.<\/span><\/p>\n

    On <\/span>adding <\/b>an inventory of 5, the updated table looks like this:<\/span><\/p>\n

    However, if we <\/span>replace <\/b>it with an inventory of 5, then the table would be updated as:<\/span><\/p>\n

    ADD INVENTORY<\/b><\/p>\n

    Let\u2019s look at the process now. To add inventory, you may click on \u201cAdd Inventory\u201d icon<\/span><\/p>\n

    You may fill in the mandatory fields here:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Item SKU Code<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Inventory Type<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Shelf Code<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Quantity to be Added<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      You may choose the inventory type-<\/span><\/p>\n

      Good Inventory- For adding saleable item<\/span><\/p>\n

      Bad Inventory- For adding bad\/broken items\/non-saleable items<\/span><\/p>\n

      Virtual Inventory- For adding \u201cJust In Time\u201d inventory<\/span><\/p>\n

      Click on Submit\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Here, you can also edit the total count of a particular product inventory and press enter, as soon as the changes are made, hit \u2018Save Changes\u2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      This action will REPLACE the selected product\u2019s inventory count.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      SCAN INVENTORY<\/b><\/p>\n

      You can also add inventory by Scanning the Product Barcode of the available products.<\/span><\/p>\n

      CLick on Scan Inventory and scan the SKU. You will need to scan every product to add its quantity here.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Select Shelf Code and Inventory type and click on Done to add the inventory.<\/span><\/p>\n

      2. Updating Inventory in Bulk using the Import file.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Follow this path <\/span>Tools > Import > Inventory Adjustment<\/b><\/p>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      Now, select the \u2018Inventory Adjustment\u2019 file from the Import Type list and download the csv file on your system.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      In this file you can mention the adjustment type as:<\/span><\/p>\n

      For Adding the inventory- Adjustment Type to be ADD<\/span><\/p>\n

      For Removing the Inventory- Adjustment Type to be REMOVE<\/span><\/p>\n

      For Replacing the inventory- Adjustment type to be REPLACE<\/span><\/p>\n

      For Transferring the inventory- Adjustment Type to be TRANSFER and Transfer to Shelf code is mandatory in Transfer case.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Save the file in CSV format and upload it in Uniware<\/span><\/p>\n

      The \u2018Inventory Adjustment\u2019 button on the \u2018Inventory\u2019 Page will show all the adjustments completed using the import file.<\/span><\/p>\n
