Shipment

A shipment or shipping package is a virtual package of an order, which can contain some specified quantity of numerous order items.

The flow in a concise form:

as soon as inventory is allocated to the order, a shipment is marked as ‘Created’

As soon as the picklist is created, the shipment is marked as ‘Picked’.

The shipment invoice is then printed and it is thus marked as ‘Packed’.

After being successfully invoiced/billed, the Shipment Label has to be generated for dispatching the shipment. The shipment is now ‘Ready To Ship’.

Create a Courier Manifest and add the shipments to be sent by the service provider.

The shipment is then ‘Dispatched’ for the end customer.
